I think it was his transparency about his life struggles to get to where he is now that was such an inspiration to a group of kids who were having struggles of their own. They were inspired to do better and that is Rico’s mission; to encourage students and let them know that they can come out of what they are struggling with by making better choices in life. ”

“I’m Chris Jones Head Football at SHS and I want to highlight Rico’s impacted he has had on my players and my staff.

The 1st thing is that he is genuine and we can feel his energy every time we hear his message. With his similar upbringing as a young black man from the GTA, He’s very relatable to the players with his experiences he has had in his life time both good and bad. And the fact that he shares the real truth to our kids on his past and how he has changed his life and through the Bible and GOD means a lot to these kids. He preaches to them on not letting your environment define you and how God has a plan for each and every one of us if we believe and follow his word. Every Monday he sends me the Monday motivational and I love it because it a great message I will give to my guys to set the tone of the week. I could write more but I’m not long winded so I’ll just finish by saying he has made a major impacted on my team with confidence to be great and to have a dream, believe, and have faith.
